The audiobook edition of Mirror of Jesus Christ is in production. For readers who would rather listen than turn pages, this is the format I am most often asked about, and I am glad to say it is on the way.
Adapting a book this footnote-heavy for audio is its own project. Mirror has 2,624 footnotes across 345 pages. Most of those citations belong on a printed page, not in a listener’s ear. The audiobook script trims the running text where citations would interrupt the flow and leaves the full reference apparatus for readers who want to verify the print or e-book. Nothing is removed from the argument. The audio version simply respects the medium.
The target listener is someone with a long commute, a long walk, or a long evening. The book is structured so the chapters stand alone well, which means an hour of listening lands a reader at a clean stopping point. That was the goal in print and it carries into audio.
Release timing is targeted for later this year. If you would like to be notified when the audiobook becomes available, the contact form on this site is the easiest way to be on that list. Thank you for your patience while it comes together.
